ACP Python SDK 1.0 roadmap

This roadmap outlines the direction for a stable 1.0 release of the ACP Python SDK.

ACP v1

• Keep up with the latest stable ACP v1 specification.
• Make public API more stable and predictable .
• Improve documentation and examples for common integrations.

Compatibility

• Document compatibility expectations for agents and clients.
• Validate the SDK against common ACP implementations.

ACP v2

• Follow the development of the ACP v2 draft.
• Evaluate v2 support once the protocol becomes stable. -> Provide a draft version for preview in 1.0
• Keep ACP v1 support during the transition.

The 1.0 release should provide a clear public API, reliable ACP v1 support, and enough documentation for users to build and maintain integrations with confidence.
